ViewQwest is a Singapore-based telecommunications provider established in 2001, striving to empower customers with the freedom to surf with no limitations.
We’ve started our journey in Singapore as an internet service provider catering mainly to business customers. In 2012, we launched our service for residential customers, delivering enterprise-grade connectivity to the homes of thousands of Singaporeans.
In 2016, we expanded to Malaysia with the goal of providing #BetterBroadband to Malaysian businesses and customers. We have been cooperating with developers to connect more homes around Malaysia ever since.

We pride ourselves in removing restrictive industry practices such as traffic shaping (commonly known as Fair Usage Policy). At the same time, we implement best practices such as latency-based routing, which provides a better gaming and shopping experience.

We are currently sharing the nation-wide High Speed Broadband network similar to our competitors.
However, we are also rapidly expanding our own infrastructure, currently available in limited areas in Klang Valley and Johor Bahru.
While we are sharing the same infrastructure, we decide what network rules and settings we impose on our part of it.
We do not impose any network limitations such as slowing down your online activities (movie streaming, peer-to-peer downloading and others) during the peak evening hours, unlike what you might experience with other internet service providers.
We also implement our proprietary technology called latency-based routing, which ensures an optimal online experience, especially when shopping and gaming.
You must be at least 18 years old be eligible to sign up for our Service.
The following documents are required to sign up for:
a) for Malaysians – a copy of your identity card (both sides)
b) for non-Malaysians – a copy of your passport
Yes, you are eligible to sign up, however a refundable foreigner deposit of RM300 applies.
Yes, you can apply for up to 5 lines using the same IC (passport). However, you can only sign up online for 1 line. To sign up for more lines after the first one, please contact us at email@example.com to receive manual application form.
- Contact your current broadband provider to terminate your account.
- After terminating your account, you can subscribe to one of our plans online
You will receive a call from ViewQwest within seven (7) working days since submitting your application for the service to confirm a date and time to install the ViewQwest equipment at your premises. The installation itself takes place within fourteen (14) working days since submitting your application for the service.
Within 7 working days since submitting your application, we will call you to schedule an installation.
There are no installation charges for standard installation. We provide cabling up to 1.5m inside the house, from Fiber Wall Socket to modem and up to 100m from the nearest HSBB network connection point to the BTU.
Additional charges may apply for requests beyond the basic cabling services, payable directly to our appointed installer.
A standard installation takes up to 1 hour.
You can reschedule your installation no later than 5 days ahead. For any rescheduling or cancellation less than 5 days ahead, you may be charged RM200.
For contractual plans, every subscription comes with one (1) free rental bundled modem (ONU) and one (1) free bundled router as specified in the Service Application Form.

To claim a warranty, bring the defective hardware to one of the ViewQwest offices in Kuala Lumpur (Suite 3A & 5, Lower Level 3, The Horizon Annexe, Avenue 7, Bangsar South) or Johor Bahru (87, 87A, 87B, Jalan Mutiara 1/9, Taman Mutiara Mas, 81300 Skudai, Johor).
We provide ASUS AC1200G+ and ASUS Lyra Trio (2-Pack) options, based on the size of your home.
For homes up to 1000 ft2, ASUS AC1200G+ is satisfactory, however to homes bigger than that, we recommend choosing a package with ASUS Lyra Trio (2-Pack) for optimal WiFi experience.
The bundled routers come at no additional charge and are yours to keep after the expiry of your contract.

Yes, you can. However, our ViewQwest engineers are trained and best versed in troubleshooting for routers that we recommend. We may not be able to advise for other router brands. Please also note that certain routers may be configured to be locked to a particular Internet Service Provider setups, and may not be compatible.
Mesh WiFi consists of two or more devices designed to work together to eliminate WiFi dead zones and ensure seamless connectivity in your home. It’s easy to set up and manage via the accompanying smartphone app.
Mesh WiFi systems are designed to replace your current router, rather than work alongside it. Unlike with traditional WiFi extenders, mesh WiFi device can communicate with each other, rather than only with the router, which enables you to set up a much larger WiFi network using less devices.
On top of that, Mesh WiFi automatically connects to the node with the best signal, providing a better, seamless experience that is easy to set up and manage thanks to intuitive accompanying smartphone apps.
Every ViewQwest customer has a different billing cycle. The invoice for monthly plan subscription is based on the service activation date. Upon service activation, you will be billed within 3 working days.
Example: Your Fibre Broadband was activated on 8th of November and you received your monthly ViewQwest invoice on the 9th of November. You will continue to receive the bill on the same day of every month or year, depending on your subscription type.
If applicable, one-time fees will also be billed together in the first invoice.

Unfortunately, transfer of account is not possible at the moment.
You may request for a Service Relocation at any time during the contract period. You will be required to recontract for a period of at least 24 months (or 12 months on VQ owned network). You will need bring over our equipment and accessories to the new home in order to continue the service. Service Relocation request is subject to Service Coverage Area. If the Service cannot be provided to your new location, we will notify you and you may be required to pay Early Termination Penalty.
Temporary suspension is not available at the moment.
You may upgrade your speed at any time by contacting our customer service. Depending on the plan you choose, you may be required to sign a new contract.
You may downgrade your speed at any time by contacting our customer service. Depending on the plan you choose, you may be required to sign a new contract and be charged RM50. If the downgrade includes a hardware change from a mesh to non-mesh router, you may be required to pay the remaining balance charge for the mesh device.
You can terminate the service at any time in one of the following ways:
a) If you have any free-rental equipment (such as free-rental modem), you can terminate by returning it to VQ office in Kuala Lumpur (Suite 3-3A & 5, Lower Level 3, The Horizon Annexe, Avenue 7, Bangsar South) or Johor Bahru (87, 87A, 87B, Jalan Mutiara 1/9, Taman Mutiara Mas, 81300 Skudai, Johor) and submitting the Service Termination Form. Termination will only be effective upon the return of all rental equipment and/or hardware provided in good working conditions or to a standard acceptable by VQ. In the event the equipment/hardware provided is damaged, the relevant fees may apply.
b) If you are not required to return any free-rental hardware (such as modem), you may terminate by submitting a Service Termination Form to ViewQwest at least 5 business days in advance.
If you would like to terminate your service during the contract period, you will be required to pay the sum of the remaining months of broadband monthly subscription fee (price before discount) in addition to all outstanding fees and charges as at termination.
Firstly, please check if another device is facing a similar issue. If so, please proceed to turn both your modem and router off. Leave them be for about 2-3 minutes before rebooting both of them back up. Power cycling normally helps customers 90% of the time.
